The Missouri Military Academy football season came to end sooner than three cadets wanted, but it was still plenty of time to impress some people.
A trio of Colonels were selected to the Missouri All-Independent all-conference football team, earning two offensive selections and one defensive selection.
Senior quarterback Gabe Canonico was named to the offensive team as an athlete for a season that included his game with three touchdowns totaling 187 yards against Agape Boarding School on Sept. 15. One of his offensive linemen, sophomore Seydina Diop was also selected on offense.
On defense, senior defensive linemen Brett Miles made the cut.
MMA played six games this past season before having to cancel because of injuries and low numbers.
