The Colonels lost 42-36 to Christian on Tuesday at home in Mexico despite leading 21-19 at halftime.
It is the first victory for Christian (1-4) and the sixth straight loss for MMA (1-6).
Gihana Favour Nziza led the Colonels with 18 points, Nathan Dempsey followed with seven points, and Ky-mani Erskine had four points.
MMA doesn’t play its next game until 7:30 p.m. Jan. 9 at Columbia Independent (0-4) because of Christmas break.
