North Callaway's offense hasn't slowed down in the last week.

In fact, it sped things up on Thursday in an 11-1 five-inning victory at home against Eastern Missouri Conference foe Van-Far -- the fifth straight Thunderbird win against Van-Far. The Thunderbirds not only finished with eight hits and scored double-digit runs in their fourth straight game but stole nine bases without being caught.

North Callaway (3-3, 2-0 EMO) has now stole 23 bases without being caught and were led in its thievery by Sam Pezold's three stolen bases. He also had two RBI to follow the 3-for-3 day by Kyle Pennell, who had three RBI and a double.

Van-Far (2-3, 0-1 EMO) only had five hits against Keaton Bell and Caleb Sheets, who combined for nine strikeouts on the mound. Bell struck out five in three shutout innings while Sheets gave up one hits in his two innings.

"Bell set the tone in the game," head coach Kirt Kleindienst said. "We took care of business from Pitch 1."

North Callaway hosts conference foe Bowling Green (1-4, 1-0 EMO) at 5 p.m. Tuesday.
