North Callaway couldn't put together a consistent offensive attack thanks to the fine pitching from Ryan Lepper and state-ranked No. 5 South Callaway on Monday in the Class 3 District 7 tournament at South Callaway in Mokane. The Thunderbirds struck out 10 times, five times looking, to lose 6-2 to bring their season to an ending 15-9 record. Davis Woods hit a solo home run for his fourth career home run at South Callaway's field while not allowing an earned run in a little more than four innings of pitching in relief.
