The North Callaway Thunderbirds baseball team lost to a pair of standout teams last week, falling 10-3 to Elsberry Thursday. They would lose to Wright City 15-0 Friday.
Sam Pezold delivered a home run in the Elsberry game.
Bats were cool as they managed one hit against Elsberry.
The Thunderbird jayvee won both of their games.
Entering this week, NCHS had a 3-6 record and were 2-3 in the conference.
They play in six games in six days this week, weather permitting, culminating Saturday with the Versailles/California Turf War.
