The tough losses kept coming for Van-Far softball on Tuesday.

The Lady Indians lost 16-0 in three innings at home to Eastern Missouri Conference foe Elsberry, finishing the game without a hit. Elsberry, meanwhile, had nine hits against Reeve Woodall and Makayla McCurdy.

Mylee Keller walked for Van-Far in the first inning but then the bases remained empty against Elsberry (6-2-1, 3-1 EMO).

Keller had the lone Van-Far RBI on Thursday in Mark Twain as the Lady Indians lost 16-1 in four innings after mustering four hits. In the third inning, Keller hit a RBI groundout to respond to the 11 runs Mark Twain (2-5, 1-2 EMO) already had. The Lady Tigers had eight hits and three extra-base hits against Reeve Woodall and Makayla McCurdy. Trinity Skwirtz went 2-for-2 for Van-Far (0-7, 0-4 EMO).

Van-Far started the North Shelby Tournament at 10:30 a.m. today against Scotland County (1-7).
